StiffWall® System Enhancements
- Seismic Design Update: Full revision of special seismic design in accordance with AISI S400 Standards.
- Built-up Columns: Modified configuration of 8” StiffWall® built-up columns (three-piece composition).
Clip & Connector Revisions
- Clip Allowable Load Tables: Updated to reflect revised fastener patterns, installation options, and industry standard screw strengths.
- DriftTrak® Updates:
- Introduced 6 screw pattern allowable loads for DTLB362/400(-HD).
- Introduced 9 screw pattern allowable loads for DTLB600(-HD), DTLB800(-HD), DTLB600(-PTS), and DTLB800(-PTS).
- Added new ‘Top of Slab’ connection option for DriftTrak® PTS w/ DTLB-PTS or DTSLB-PTS.
- VertiClip® Updates:
- Replaced SLS1000-XX and SLS1200-XX with SLS1000-15, -18, -20 and SLS1200-18, -20.
- Updated SLT(L) clip anchorage categories based on base material and anchor hole size.
- StiffClip® Updates:
- Introduced StiffClip® TD-LT, a lighter hold-down option without a washer plate.
- Replaced the 5/4 screw pattern with a more robust 5/6 pattern for StiffClip® RT.
- Screw Capacities: Revised screw shear limiting capacities across clip connectors based on industry-standard screw strengths.
Product & Utility Additions
- SigmaStud® Database Expansion: Added various 3” flange SigmaStud® sections
- Screw Designer Utility: Updated to reflect new industry standard screw strengths.
- Component Detail Files: Revised to include updated clip and connection details.
- Technical Sheets:
- New sheets for miscellaneous products used in light-steel framing projects.
- Added Fire-Rated Details for head-of-wall assemblies (US and Canada).
General Improvements
- Minor bug fixes and performance improvements for smoother operation.
