Floor Framing
The Floor Framing module within SteelSmart® System provides analysis and design of common floor joists and beams constructed with light steel framing TSN JamStud® and ‘cee’ sections.
Users may select from 4 standard floor joist and 4 standard beam configurations, or create a custom floor or beam assembly. The standard floor/beam spans are the following:
- Simple joist
- Simple span joist with cantilever
- Double span joist
- Double span joist with cantilever
- Simple beam
- Simple span beam with cantilever
- Double span beam
- Double span beam with cantilever
Each design scenario results in the selection of the member, connectors, and fasteners for the assembly.
