Roof Framing
The SteelSmart® System's Roof Framing Module provides analysis and design of a variety of roof assemblies. Users may select from 8 standard roof layouts, or create a custom roof type. The standard roof configurations include the following:
- Simple supported rafter
- Simple supported rafter with overhang
- Three-hinged rafter
- Three-hinged rafter with overhang
- Double span rafter
Each results in the selection of the member, connector, and fastener for the assembly.
